• Home city and country - Required for event creation and location-based features

Additional Information for Activity Tracking and Leaderboards:

• Birthday (or month/year) and gender - Required for logging activities and appropriate age group associations

Device Permissions (Optional, with your consent):

• Camera access - Required for QR code scanning and event participation photo features
• Haptic feedback - Required for specific activities (like prayer reminders) and notifications

Fitness Data (Optional - Garmin Integration):

• Activity data synced from Garmin Connect (workouts, runs, bike rides, etc.) - Optional
• Performance metrics (distance, duration, heart rate, calories, etc.) - Optional
• Personal notes and descriptions you add to activities

Important Note: The use of Garmin integration is not required for using Four Score Athletics. It is optional depending on your goals in using the platform and whether you already have the necessary hardware (sports watch). The platform can be fully used without any fitness device integration.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Associate activities with appropriate age groups based on your birthday and gender
• Enable event creation and location-based features using your city and country
• Enable messaging between users (requires telephone verification and 18+ age verification)
• Sync and display your activity data from Garmin Connect (if you choose to connect)
• Provide QR code scanning for event participation (with camera permission)
• Deliver haptic feedback for activities like prayer reminders and notifications (with permission)
• Send email notifications about your account and activities
• Analyze and visualize your fitness progress
• Improve our services and user experience
• Communicate with you about your account

Email Notifications: You can turn off email notifications at any time through your account settings in the app. You maintain full control over communication preferences.

Device Permissions:

We request camera access only when you use QR code scanning or event photo features. Haptic feedback is requested for specific activities (like prayer reminders) and notifications. You can deny these permissions and still use the core features of the platform.

4. Data Storage and Security

• Your data is stored on secure servers
• We use industry-standard encryption for data transmission
• Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text
• OAuth tokens are encrypted and securely stored

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Your fitness data is private and only accessible to you through your account.
